Hello readers,
W.A.L.T… use prior knowledge and knowledge gained from texts to learn about road safety
Today I am going to show you what me and my group have been learning about this week. I have learnt that we have to cross when the green man is green. I have done a poster to show you how to be safe on the road. This poster is about road safety. If you are a young boy or girl just make sure you are with an adult before crossing. Something I did well is using some bright colours for my poster.
Something I could improve on is including information about riding your bike safely.
Here is my poster. Please leave a comment.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

How To Cross The Road Safety
2 comments:
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Great poster Mele.
ReplyDeleteI like that you included some facts about safety and how to cross the road.
I don't think we always need to walk with and adult-maybe you could put that young children need to walk with an adult.Because I am an adult I can cross by myself and so can you :)
Have a wonderful holiday.
Xin chao Mrs Cassidy,
